How to Disable IPV6 Mozilla Firefox

Disable IPV6 on Mozilla Firefox 4 is-it possible?

With over 103 million downloads of Firefox 4 (and this is changing, see HERE), maybe some of you have noticed that their browser was longer than usual, this may be due to the fact that IPv6 is not disabled in Firefox, here is the method to overcome them:

Open Firefox

In the address bar, type "about: config" and press enter

  • Click on " I'll be careful, I promise. "
  •  In the search bar, type "ipv6"

You will see network.dns.disableIPv6.

If the right value is "false ", double click it to move it to "true" and then right click and "reverse".

So, the IPV6 in Firefox is now disabled! Restart Firefox for changes to take effect.
