How to hid components in the control panel
Components of the Control Panel
By default, Windows XP displays all the components in the
Panel.
But for security reasons or others, you can hide
components you want to make them inaccessible.
To do this:
• Start, Run then type regedit.
• Open the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Con
trolPanel \ NameSpace.
• Select the sub key of your choice (the one you want to hide).
• Right-click Rename and then cut through.
• just add the "?" at first. Close the editor.
And here, now if you restart the Control Panel you will see that everything does not appear.
Sure to make them appear again just repeat the same procedure and remove the "?".
